We took a day trip from Florence to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. What we didn't know is that the entire Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square), which contains the Tower of Pisa, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other than the Tower of Pisa, the square contains the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistry, and the Camposanto Monumentale.
There's not too much for us to write about Pisa because it was just so cold when we were there! We wore a lot of layers but there's only so much we can pack into our backpacks.
We got off the train from Florence, rushed to the tower, walked through the cathedral, took some pictures, bought some postcards, and rushed back to the train station.

While we were there, we had to take touristy photos with the tower; we didn't think the experience was complete without them! Finding a spot with a clear view of the tower was a little difficult with all the people in the background but we managed to get a few. We were pretty impressed with how creative some people were with their poses and picture-taking!
