According to the travel blogs I read and friends who have backpacked before, less is more when it comes to packing. I tried my best to eliminate anything unnecessary and only carry with me the essentials. However, I have a feeling a couple of months down the road the contents in my backpack might look a little different. But for now, here is my packing list for clothing:

My backpack:
A Deuter Futura Vario 50L+10L. The picture shown is not a fully packed bag, but you get the idea. It has tons of compartments, Aircomfort Ventilation System so my back doesn't get too sweaty, attached rain cover, and most importantly, FRONT ZIPPERS so I don't have to dig through everything to get to the bottom of the bag. I borrowed the backpack from our friend Charles. The goal is to return it in one piece to Charles by the end of our trip. Thanks buddy!
There it is! Keep checking our blog to see if what I packed actually worked out for me. Only time will tell!
